Workers safely extricated after building collapse in Ramsgate

Last night Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to Ramsgate for reports of building collapse with people inside.

When emergency services arrived they found that a building had collapsed while 3 workers were still inside.

Paramedics quickly assessed the building to gain safe access to the patients. Once by the patients’ paramedics assessed they found that 1 patient had sustained serious injuries and a second patient had sustained minor injuries.

Both patients were stabilized on the scene, and with the help of fire and rescue services and wolf security, the patients were safely extricated from the rubble. The patients were then transported to the hospital for further treatment.
