Gauteng: On Wednesday afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to a crush injury at business premises off Old Pretoria Road in Halfway House, Midrand.
On scene, it was found that a 150-kilogram bag had fallen off a truck on one of the workers.
The patient, an adult male, had sustained serious injuries and was treated on scene by a Netcare 911 Emergency Care Practitioner.
Once stabilised, the patient was flown by Netcare 911 helicopter ambulance to the hospital for further care.
