The Minister of Transport, Fikile Mbalula, accompanied by the MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Peggy Nkonyeni, Prasa and Sanral executives, inspected the damage to road infrastructure following the devastating floods.
Minister Mbalula inspected N2 in uMhlali, N2 in uMgababa, which have collapsed.
There are other strategic projects that the minister inspected, including roads leading to uMlazi, Bayhead road to the container terminal at the Durban harbour.
Minister Mbalula announced measures to speedily restore the damaged infrastructure.
