The N2 and N3 upgrades also referred to as the N2/N3 upgrades, will bolster the capacities of economic lifelines from Durban to the rest of South Africa and Africa in support of the SIP2 programme.
The projects connect the Port of Durban, the largest port in Sub-Saharan Africa, to Gauteng, the largest economic hub in the country, and neighbouring countries in the SADC region.
