The R102 at the Umkomaas Bridge is finally being repaired

Please note that the R102 at the Umkomaas Bridge is finally being repaired, after the April 2022 floods took out half of it.

This affects anyone coming from the South of Umkomaas only. Coming from the North of Umkomaas is not affected at all.

The N2 Northbound highway needs to be used in this time period, taking the turn left at the Shell Ultra City.

Step-by-step Instructions

1. Turn off the N2 Northbound at the Shell Ultra City off-ramp.
2. Keep left when you get to the petrol pumps and take the road left.
3. Turn left at the t-junction and head to the one-way bridge.
4. Cross the one-way bridge over the N2.
5. Turn left at the t-junction and head towards the other Shell Ultra City.
6. Turn right at the first road right and head down to the R102.
7. Turn right at the R102 and head South towards Umkomaas.
