Limpopo Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba inspected a possible sink hole caused by heavy rains in the past weeks on the R71 road in Makgobaskloof.
The Premier, who was accompanied by the MEC for Limpopo Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure, Mr Ernest Rachoene, has assured residents of Limpopo that the Provincial Government is working tirelessly to ensure a swift response repairing roads that have been left damaged by the recent floods.
She said the Provincial Executive Committee will have an urgent meeting on Wednesday, 15 January 2024 to assess the totality of rain damage across all districts in the province. This would also give EXCO an opportunity to do reports for the National Government to declare the recent rains a disaster.
