Monday 03 February 2025 at 08:00, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) OR Tambo Precinct Officers, arrested two(2) City of Ekurhuleni employees in the Brakpan area.
Following on information about theft and misuse of a TLB machinery, that went missing in December and was spotted in Vosloorus, being utilised by a construction company, which was contracted to the City of Ekurhuleni.
Two (2) male suspects aged 36 and 63 years, were arrested, at the Department of Roads Transport and Civil works, in the Brakpan area.
The duo was detained at Brakpan police station, facing charges of theft and are expected to appear at the Brakpan Magistrate’s Court soon.
