The Department of Roads and Public Works (DRPW) continues to improve the condition and safety of roads in the John Taolo Gaetsewe District through targeted road maintenance initiatives.
Our internal road maintenance teams are currently constructing concrete edge beams along the MR 947:
- From Magojaneng to Seoding Crossroad, and
- In Maruping, from Gamohana towards Mothibistad.
Concrete edge beams serve a vital purpose:
- They protect the edges of the road from erosion, prevent crumbling, and extend the road’s lifespan-ensuring safer and smoother travel for all road users.
This initiative is part of the Department’s ongoing commitment to quality service delivery and the sustainable upkeep of our roads.
