Two (2) females were injured after an unmanned truck crashed into a house in Inca Drive – KZN today (Friday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the scene at approximately 11:14 and on arrival located a 65 year old female seated on a chair in the yard. She was bleeding from a laceration to her head.
Her 36 year old Domestic Employee was found in the back yard. She suffered injuries to her leg.
It was established that both women were in the living room when a blue crane truck crashed through the wall. The truck was unmanned at the time. The driver sustained minor injury after he attempted to board the vehicle once it started to roll.
Brake failure is suspected to be the cause of the accident.
