We are always emphasising the importance of initiating CPR without delay.
And today, Netcare911 staff, assisted by Community Medics, were involved in providing CPR to a construction worker – the worker had collapsed while on scaffolding at a new development in Table View – and once he was rapidly lowered to ground level, advanced life support CPR continued.
Despite best efforts, the worker sadly passed away.
