Citrusdal’s vital link to the N7 has been restored

Very excited to officially reopen Main Road 310 (MR310), restoring Citrusdal’s vital link to the N7 after last year’s devastating floods.

This R38 million emergency repair project not only replaced the damaged road but also rebuilt it to be stronger and more flood-resilient, including a new culvert capable of handling a 20-year design flood.

Citrusdal is one of the Western Cape’s most important citrus-growing areas, and with this project, we’ve secured both livelihoods and economic opportunity for years to come.
