As part of our ongoing response to potholes and maintenance of our road infrastructure, yesterday, MEC Thulasizwe Thomo spent the better part of the day on the ground with the Departmental Kubhunya Lutfuli Road Maintenance Team in the Dr JS Moroka Local Municipality.
Our dedicated teams continue to traverse the province, implementing this extensive road maintenance programme aimed at restoring the integrity of our road network. Through the utilisation of a mechanised jet-patching machine, we are actively addressing potholes while improving the overall durability and structural integrity of our road network.
The jet-patchers, through our roads maintenance teams, have intensified efforts and will continue working across the province, prioritising the most affected roads.
