The Vlakfontein Public Transport Facility was about creating infrastructure and creating opportunity.
Through a labour-intensive Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) approach, the JDA ensured that the local community directly benefited from the project’s delivery.

- 8 local labourers gained employment
