Road users are advised to expect slow-moving traffic, congestion, and possible delays between the Keeversfontein Interchange and Van Reenen due to urgent road maintenance currently underway on this section of the N3 Toll Route.
Construction teams are working between the bottom and top arrestor beds on Van Reenen Pass. As a result, lane closures are in place and are affecting traffic flow in both the north- and southbound directions.
N3TC appeals to all motorists and truck drivers to approach the area with caution, adhere to warning signage, and allow for additional travel time.
Road users are urged to reduce speed, increase following distances, and remain patient and courteous towards fellow road users and construction personnel working under challenging conditions.
