Motorists are advised that blasting operations will take place on the N9 between Oudtshoorn and George on Wednesday, 29 July, as part of ongoing road construction work.
To ensure the safety of road users and construction crews, the road will be closed to all traffic between 14:00 and 17:00.
The temporary closure will affect motorists travelling between Oudtshoorn and George, as well as those using the Uniondale-George route.
Road users are encouraged to plan their trips ahead of time, allow for possible delays, and use alternative routes where feasible.
Motorists are also urged to follow the instructions of traffic officials and exercise caution when travelling near the construction site.
