As part of his visit to Limpopo on the MinMec programme, the National Department of Public Works and Infrastructure Minister, Dean MacPherson, took a detour to the Dikgerekgere Wednesday service delivery programme outside Polokwane at Ga-Mothiba Ngwanamago within the Capricorn District.
The Limpopo Premier, Dr Phophi Ramathuba and the Limpopo Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure Ernest Rachoene apprised the Minister and MECs from Gauteng and Mpumalanga on the programme, emphasising the use of internal capacity to carry it out.
The Minister commended the programme for accelerating service delivery as the programme allows the province to “respond a lot quicker in situations of disaster.”
