Efforts to advance the implementation of the Mapulaneng Regional Hospital project remain a priority as the Department works towards the continued construction activities at this strategic health infrastructure project in the Bushbuckridge Local Municipality.
As part of ongoing oversight and project support, we conducted a site visit together with the project team to engage on implementation matters and ensure that the necessary measures are in place to facilitate construction and the continued implementation of the project.
The Mapulaneng Regional Hospital remains a strategic investment in strengthening the province’s public healthcare infrastructure. Upon completion, the modern 365-bed facility will significantly enhance access to quality healthcare services.
The project is being implemented as a multi-year development in phases and will comprise modern clinical and non-clinical facilities, supported by extensive engineering services and external works.
