ENZA Construction, one of the country’s leading black-owned and managed construction companies is pleased to advise that it is a now an official associate sponsor to the Central Gauteng Lions (CGL).
“Cricket enjoys great popularity across the country and our partnership with a winning team like the Lions couldn’t have happened at a better time,” says Clinton Crowie, Executive Director of Enza Construction. “Sports is a great unifier. All you need is a makeshift bat, ball and stumps and everyone comes together. Language is not a barrier.”
ENZA is no stranger to the positive impact that sport brings to communities and believes that it is an area that can play a big role in developing communities, the cornerstone of Enza’s values.
As an ongoing initiative to support a variety of sporting disciplines, ENZA has also partnered with DNS, the 3-man cycling team as their official sponsor as well as Delfos Cricket Club, a cricket club which just over a decade ago did not have a team in the Gauteng Premier League but has since won Gauteng Club of the Year for the past 2 years. In 2018 the team won the National T20 Club trophy.
“We believe that our association with CGL will give us a chance to support the sport in the years to come, and in turn, gain substantial traction for sport in the country. As an organisation we continually seek to be part of projects that translate into sustainable empowerment initiatives that have long term benefits for every stakeholder that we partner with,” says Crowie, in conclusion.
