KZN Transport officials inspect upgrades at Margate Airport

KZN MEC for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Nomusa Dube-Ncube together with KZN MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Bheki Ntuli, Ugu District Municipality Mayor, Cllr Sizwe Ngcobo and Ray Nkonyeni Local Municipality Mayor, Cllr Nomusa Mqwebu today inspected the renovations taking place at the Margate Airport under the Ray Nkoyeni Local Municipality on the South Coast.

The upgrade of the Margate Airport began in June 2020 and is expected to be completed in December 2020.

The Margate Airport has been identified as a critical contributor to tourism & investment in the Ugu District of the South Coast of KZN.
