Earlier today Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to the scene of a structural collapse on a construction site in the Olifantsfontein area.
Reports from the scene are that four men were left injured, one seriously so, after the structure they were building collapsed on top of them.
A man in his fifties, was found to be pinned under the rubble. With the assistance of the Tshwane Fire Department, a lengthy extrication process took place to free the man whilst Emergency Care Practitioners worked to stabilize him.
Once free he was transported rapidly by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further care.
