Volunteers were called for a trauma incident involving a patient who was injured after being pinned under a collapsed steel structure.
On assessment, the patient sustained a suspected tibia/fibula fracture. The patient received treatment on scene and thereafter transported by Netcare to a specialised hospital for further management.
