A man, believed to be in his 40s, was injured this morning following a structural collapse at a building at the Woodpecker and Penguin Road Intersection in Lenasia.
ER24 personnel arrived on the scene to find another service already in attendance, tending to the patient.
On assessment, medics found that the man had escaped with only moderate injuries.
The man was treated for his injuries and thereafter transported by another service to a nearby hospital for further care.
It is believed that the man had been working inside the building when part of the wall had collapsed.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
