Road closure after a water main burst and mudslide at the entrance to Simon’s Town

A water main burst and mudslide at the entrance to Simon’s Town close to Lower North Battery and KelPak has forced a closure of Simon’s Town Main Road. Relevant authorities are on the scene and working to fix the main and clear the roadway. Please expect that the roadway will remain closed for some time.

For travel into Simon’s Town, reroute through Dido Valley Road. For exiting Simon’s Town, reroute via Redhill Road.
