Just after 11h00 this morning Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to reports of a structural collapse at a residential property in the Waterkloof Ridge area.
On arrival on scene, it was established that scaffolding had collapsed on a building site injuring two men, one of them critically so.
Both men were treated and stabilized on scene before a decision was made to airlift the critically injured patient with the assistance of the Netcare911 aeromedical helicopter, to a specialist facility for the definitive care that he required.
