The Johannesburg Development Agency is leading the development of a Universal Design Access Plan (UDAP) to ensure ALL Joburg residents can move freely and safely across the City of Joburg’s public transport network – including Rea Vaya Bus transit, Metrobus – City of Joburg, and Putco systems.
The UDAP will assess stations, vehicles, signage, customer care, and digital platforms to help create a fully accessible, user-friendly transport experience for everyone, including the elderly, people with disabilities, and parents with young children.
