The Oudtshoorn Local Municipality wishes to inform residents that clean-up operations have officially commenced in North Street, Oudtshoorn, following debris deposits occurring during the recent floods.
An action plan was developed by the Municipality and submitted to the Western Cape Department of Environmental Affairs and Development Planning (DEA&DP) for approval. The plan specifically targets the removal of debris build-up and the clearing of possible obstructions identified as a result of flood activity.
