Designed to maintain and manage the Rea Vaya fleet, the depot will serve as a vital hub ensuring that buses operate safely, on time, and with reduced environmental impact. Its strategic location in the inner city minimises travel distances, improves operational efficiency, and supports a greener, more connected Joburg.
As the project nears completion, the administration building – the nerve centre of the facility – is now in its final phase of construction, bringing the City one step closer to realising a smarter and more integrated mobility network.
