The members of the Mopani Tracking Team, together with Bolobedu Detectives, nabbed two male suspects in connection with a business robbery that was committed during October 2025 at the Bolobedu policing area.
It is reported that a trailer fitted with a generator was robbed at a construction site in Jamela village by five unknown male suspects who towed it with a white Isuzu bakkie.
Both the trailer and generator valued at R270 000-00 belonged to a Construction Company and were later recovered at the Malamulele policing area, and one suspect was arrested.
On Tuesday, 09 December 2025, at about 10:00, police received information about the whereabouts of two male suspects who were at their hideout in the Malamulele policing area.
Police rushed to the vicinity and managed to arrest a 37-year-old male at his residence. During the arrest, police also seized a white Isuzu KB bakkie, which was used during the commission of the crime.
The other male suspect, aged 37, was also arrested at his rental residence near Malamulele Central Business District (CBD).
The duo are expected to appear before the Bolobedu Magistrate’s court on Thursday, 11 December 2025, facing a charge of business robbery.
