No injuries were reported after a municipal contractor vehicle overturned in Oakford, KwaZulu-Natal, yesterday (Sunday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the scene by a passing motorist. On arrival, Reaction Officers found an Isuzu van lying on its roof on an unpaved road.
It was established that the vehicle was travelling along the dirt road when the driver experienced brake failure. In an attempt to avoid members of the public and bring the vehicle to a stop, the driver steered into an embankment. This resulted in the vehicle rolling over and landing on its roof. Three (3) adult males were in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
No injuries were reported.
