Earlier this afternoon, one of our guards from a guarding site based in Umhali requested immediate backup.
Our control room immediately dispatched 2 vehicles to assist on-site after a suspect was spotted climbing through our client’s fence and stealing roof sheets.
Our security officer was brave enough to chase and arrest the suspect. Unfortunately, three other suspects evaded arrest by running through bushes along the R102 and train tracks.
12 roof sheets were recovered, and the suspect was handed over to Umhlali SAPS for further investigation.
